Darling Darling is a great short film I saw earlier on Shorts TV. 

It's from 2005 and stars Michael Cera as a nervous teenager trying to make a good impression on his dates eccentric parents. The scene where I turned it on was amazing. Her dad (a guy with a horse head) is playing this amazing power solo on guitar in front of Cera and starts intruding on Cera's personal space. 

It's so good! I'm going to try to find it online or maybe upload it to youtube.

The Killer Shrews (1959)

A disparate group are trapped on a remote island by a hurricane. On the island, a doctor works to make humans twice as small as we already are. This, apparently, will help prevent over population. Unfortunately, his experiments have also created some giant shrews (dogs dressed in ridiculous looking shrew costumes, which is actually bits of carpet and fake fangs glued to their real ones). As the shrews run out of smaller animals to eat, they move in on the people in the house.

Perhaps a collie with carpet stuck to it?

Judex (1963)

Judex (1963) is a French-language crime film remake of the 1916 French film serial of the same name. Directed by French filmmaker Georges Franju, the film stars Channing Pollock as Judex/Vallieres , Edith Scob as Jacqueline, Francine Bergé as Diana and Michel Vitold as Favraux. The plot revolves the banker Favraux, receiving a threatening note from Judex demanding that he pay back people he has swindled. He is later drugged by Judex and locked away. Meanwhile the former governess Diana, kidnaps Jacqueline to try to get the banker's money.

Waltz With Bashir (2008)

I watched Milk yesterday. Gus Van Sant has gone back to his old ways. Although I prefer Last Days and Elephant, Milk is an authentic, poignant biopic. I recommend you watch it.
